I started this blog to share the books I love with people. As a result, the posts on here will not recommend anything I haven’t read. I like to offer recommendations with minimal commentary that steer clear of definitive judgment either way. Just know that if I write about it on here, it means something to me. And I would not put forth a book that I myself didn’t enjoy or appreciate in one form or another. My goal is to give people just enough to entice them to go out, rent, borrow, or buy the book and arrive at their own conclusions.

Recommendations are posted at the beginning of each month and will include a common thread or theme. There will likely be some intermittent posts sprinkled in. But, in general, the space between updates allows for more reading, contemplation, and absorption of ideas. With that said, I link information about the book and/or the offer in the title of recommendations. Be aware that I don’t connect everything to a point of sale. Sometimes I believe it’s more appropriate to include information about the author – which could be their personal website or an interview.

As of this moment, I am not on social media channels and therefore cannot promote this blog on various platforms. That doesn’t prohibit you from sharing it! But know that the easiest way to contact me is via email at thereadmoreblog@gmail.com. I may relent and create an Instagram account at some point, but right now, I enjoy the silence.
